Bellingham Foamwars Games List

1) Free for all games

Free for all games are games in which no standing teams are declared. These games are generally played at any time of the day when there are few players ready to play or when a quick game is called for. Standardly these games are initiated by general consensus with an elder calling the vote. Free for all games are played before clans, between clans and the afternoon game, or after the afternoon game.

1. Free-for-all or FFA: fighting on your own, everyone against everyone. People may group together, but they are not on a team and can still kill each other by accident.

2. Sprout: Like FFA, but you re-spawn when the person who killed you has died. You have to walk to the side of the field and count to at least 10 to re-spawn. People may group together, but they are not on a team and can still kill each other by accident. This game should have a 15-minute game timer and then turns into free for all when the time is called.

3. Head Hunter: One player is the bounty, they must be killed and their ‘head’ (flag) must be brought to the base (other end of field). The player who brings the flag to the base wins. The head must carry the flag at all times. If the flag touches the ground before the head is dead, they die at that time. There is a maximum of three guards a game unless the game is very small numbers, then there are no guards allowed. If the head is dead, the flag may be carried or moved anyway you choose.

4. Death Trap: Like FFA but when you die you crouch down and trap. If you kill some one as a trap then you become alive and they become the trap. Traps can link with other traps so that if one kills a live player then all the linked traps become alive. Throwing weapons may be used only to link, not to kill in this game.

5. Death Trap Elimination: like death trap but when killed by a trap you are out and don’t come back. If a player kills you, you become a trap. If a trap kills you, you leave the game permanently.

6. Next: 1/3rd of the field goes out and forms a ring around the rest of the players. The outer people call out next. Each time a person on the out side calls next a person from the inside goes out and duels them one on one. The winner stays out and the loser goes to the center. A double kill results in a re-duel. Every new duel, both people are fully healed.

7. Gladiator: Players form a ring around 2 players who fight. The loser leaves the ring and some one else from the ring comes out and fights them. A player can’t come back out until the person who killed them dies. You keep your injuries between battles if you are the winning person.

8. Ogre mound: Like FFA except for all the weapons are placed in a pile in the center of the group. When the game starts people rush for the pile and grab whatever weapons they can. When you kill some one you can trade your weapons for their weapons. There is no re-spawn in this game.

9. Scavenge: A variation of sprout, combined with a variation of ogre-mound. All the weapons are spread around the entire field randomly. When you die, you have to drop all equipment including armor. When you kill someone, you must drop the weapon you killed them with. As with sprout, you must wait for the person who killed you to die, to re-spawn yourself. This game should have a 15-minute game timer and then turns into free for all when the time is called.

10. Blood Bath: Players are confined to a small area, they then try to kill as many people as possible in the time limit. When you die you go to the edge and then your alive again. The player with the most kills wins. Do your best to be honest about your killing. This game should have a 15-minute game timer and then turns into free for all when the time is called.

11. Tower of Death: like blood bath but instead of an instant re-spawn you have to wait 10 seconds. If only one person is left alive then they win. This game should have a 15-minute game timer and then turns into free for all when the time is called.

12. Juggernaut: The game starts with two lower skilled players as the juggernauts. Juggernauts have weapons of smiting. This means that any legal hit, kills the other person. This does not work on the other juggernaut. They must fight them normally. The two players with flags are juggernauts they are invulnerable to death until they lose both their arms. Once a juggernaut dies then another player can pick up the flag and become a new juggernaut. You may also steal the flag from the juggernaut without killing them if you are sneaky! Once one juggernaut has both flags for 10 seconds, the game is over.

13. Death Count: like FFA but when a person dies they start counting to 20. When a new person dies they start counting and the person who was counting stops and goes of the field. If a person reached 20 before some one else dies then the game is over and every one loses. The win scenario is when only one person is left. There is no re-spawn in this game.

2) Small groups

Small group games are games in which each of the teams involved consists of low numbers. These games are generally played when there are a decent number of players ready to play a game, which may take some time to complete. These games

are standardly initiated by general consensus with the vote being taken by an elder. Small group games typically happen between clans and the afternoon game, or after the afternoon game.

1. Team HeadHunter: like headhunter but with two or more teams trying to return the head. It could be teams of any predetermined size.

2. Group Battles: the field is split into groups of 2 or 3 or 4 and then fights like a team battle.

3. Valhalla: Starts like a FFA and then when you die you go to the backstop and group up with 2 other people forming a group of three. You then go out and fight with that group until you die and then go back to the backstop and form a new group. However, if you wish to fight alone. You may go rogue in the battle. Every time you die, you go to the backstop and add 10 seconds per death to your re-spawn timer. There is supposed to be a 10-minute game timer on this game.

Many other games can be played as small groups when you do not have enough people to play them with the larger numbers.

3) Large Groups

Large group games are games in which each of the teams involved consists of large numbers. These games are generally played when there are a large number of players ready for a long lasting game. These games are standardly initiated by general consensus with the vote being taken by an elder. Large group games are typically played during the time allotted for afternoon games.

1. Team Battle: the field splits into two or more teams and fights each other.

2. Medic: like team battle but each team has a Medic who can heal dead and injured people.

Medics can only have one weapon or one shield. They have a designated healing arm that can't hold the weapon or shield. They can use armor, but their healing arm must still remain complete unarmored.

3. Secret lord: like team battle but each team has a secret lord. As long as the lord is alive everyone else can go back to their base and re-spawn after 10 sec.

4. Defender: one team ties to defend a flag for 10mins with no re-spawns while the other attacks them and has to get the flag and take it back to their base before the time runs out. The attacking team has a 10 sec re-spawn at their base

5. Traitor: like team battle but there is a traitor on each team designated by a person who is not playing who is an elder. At anytime of their choosing they can start killing the people of the team they started with.

4) Special or scenarios games

Special/Scenario games are games in which the rules are highly customized. These games are generally played when there is a significant interest. These games are standardly initiated by general consensus with the vote being taken by an elder. Special/Scenario games are typically played during the time allotted for afternoon games or after, yet may occur during any game time slot.

1. Heroes and zombies: zombies out number the heroes 4 to one, zombies only have one leg, if a hero hit’s a zombie with a weapon anywhere then the zombie dies.

2. Necromancer: Like Heroes and zombies with no Heroes. There is a designated necromancer zombie that can heel dead zombies.

3. Zombie survivor: 1/4 of the players are 'zombies'. The rest of the players are 'humans'. Humans play as normal and wear a headband. Zombies can only walk and use weapons shorter then 4ft. When a human or zombie dies they kneel down for 10 sec then stand up as a zombie.

4. Aztec football: One team defends a goal while the other has a designated ball player. The team with the ball tries to get him through the goal alive while the defending team tries to kill him before he gets across.

5. Death Soccer: Like normal soccer but players have weapons and they re-spawn when the die after 10 seconds. You still can't use your hands but you can hit the ball with your weapon. The ball hitting you counts as a weapon hit.

6. Minefield: three or four players or "mines" stand in a line, weapons length apart (meaning, you stand as far apart as you can and touch the end of your weapons at maximum extension). The rest of the field has to run through the mines in between the end two (no running on the outside of the last mine). If a player running through dies they stop and become a mine for the next round. Once every one goes through then the new mines distance them selves weapon length apart as before and the game goes on. Once there are more then 5 mines. You make a second row of mines behind the first. Stagnated at weapons length in all directions. The only way a person can win is if they are the last person alive and have gone through the minefield of that round. No throwing weapons allowed in this game. The mines are invulnerable.

7. Poison Weapon: a weapon is designated the poison weapon, it should be a unique weapon. Poison weapon is a free for all. If the poison weapon kills you then you don’t

re-spawn, if a limb is hit with the poison weapon it stays gone for the game. But if a normal weapon kills you then you go to the side of the field for 10 seconds and then your alive again. The winner is the last person left.

8. 8 ball: (this game can only be played by 16 or less people) divide the field into 2 teams. Have them face each other. Have each team count off from low to high. When the game starts a player can kill a player who has his number or lower. The 8th player or 8 ball has to be killed last and can kill everyone.

9. 9 ball: (this game is best to do with less then 20 people on the field.) Make 2 even teams. Have them line up facing each other. Starting with one end have them count off starting with 1 and going to the last person. When the game starts the lowest numbered person must die first before the next person is killed. If a person is killed out of order then the game is over and the team that killed out of order loses

10. Prison Break: 1/4th of the best players on the field are given daggers (weapons under 18 inches). They must kill the rest of the field who are armed normally. No re-spawns.

5) Game Variants: simple variations to games that don’t change the rules very much.

1. 1 weapon: All the players can only have 1 weapon that is less than 4 feet long

2. Confined: The game is played within a confined area.

3.Re-spawn: The game plays as normal but they players game re spawn after a time.

4.Multiple team: Instead of the game having no or 2 teams it has a larger number of teams.

6) Capture the flag. Variants and rules.

1. Capture the Flag or CTF: like team battle but each team has a flag at their base. As long as a team has a flag they can re-spawn after 10 sec, you must go off to the side and go back to the flag to re-spawn. The goal is to get the majority of the flags to one base. That team is then the winner. See flag rules in primary rule packet.

2. Lord Medic CTF: the rules for secret lord, Medic battle and CTF all in one game.

3: Border CTF: like CTF but the field is split in half. Each side has a team with a flag. If a player dies on his teams side he can re spawn. If he dies on the other teams side of the flag he stays dead and goes to a prison. They stay dead until a living player of their team touches them.

4. Territory CTF: like normal CTF but there are designated areas on the field which if held by 5 people of one team grants that team an ability such as a cleric or instant re spawns etc.

7) Clans

Clans are a team battle in which each team has a regular membership, unique identity/philosophy, and elected leadership. There is no re-spawn during Clans and there is a call to battle initiated by an elder. Entering the game after this battle call is forbidden. Leaving the boundaries of the field of battle results in game death. While a player can continue to participate after having lost both arms, only a player with at least one active arm counts towards victory. The last team standing with at least one player who still has the ability to tag an opponent wins. Clans occur every week from 12:30 to 2:30. Participation/attendance in clans is a requirement to become an elder.

9) Weapons Dodge ball

Line the weapons up in the middle of the field with the field splitting evenly onto both sides of weapon line.  The game starts with everyone standing at least 15ft away from the weapons. When "battle on!" is called everyone rushes to the center to grab any weapon(s) they can so the battle can start. The game ends when time is called or no one is left. The rules for this game are:

- You may drop your weapon(s) at any time to pick up new ones.

-When you die you drop your weapon(s) where you stand, walk to the edge, count to ten, you walk in with no weapon(s) but are still alive.

- When you die you must use a different weapon(s).

- When you drop your weapon(s) you must use a different weapon(s) and you must keep it for at least 30 sec. before you may drop it and reuse your last weapon(s).

- Each weapon(s) you pick up you must use for at least 30 sec. before switching.

- The same rule applies with throwing weapons, in this sense you may use them as many times as you wish.

- if you drop a weapon(s) by accident you may not pick it up, you must use a different one.

- if two or more people start to argue over one/one set of weapons, none of them may use them untill they die.

- And most importantly have fun and don't be selfish.

Other variations:
Weapons Dodgeball CTF
Weapons Dodgeball Cleric
Weapons Dodgeball Jailbreak
Weapons Dodgeball No-Respawn
Weapons Dodgeball FFA
Weapons Dodgeball Sprout
Weapons Dodgeball (other)

part of the point of this game is to use different weapons and improve skills that you may be slacking on

A few guidelines on common courtesy:

- Please if you die and you have the weapon(s) you like please dont toss them 10 feet closer to the side so you can get to it easier or way far away so nobody else can get to it; when i say where you stand i mean where you stand.

- If you end up dying with or accidentally dropping the weapon(s) you like please don't grab another set and stand near it as if to guard it.

- Don’t get defensive over a weapon(s). (i.e. dont yell at someone that they can't use a weapon(s) because it's yours or you want to use it; if it's on the field it's free for everyone.)

- If someone else has a weapon(s) you want either kill them and take it, or politely ask them to trade with you, even if it's an enemy.

- If you don't get the weapon(s) you like don't complain, keep the weapon you have and do the above.

- And most importantly have fun and be polite to others around you.

8) 5 Coin Battle:

5 Coin Battle is a game in which each of the teams involved consist of large numbers and re-spawn. This game is generally played when there is a significant interest. This game is standardly initiated by general consensus with the vote being taken by an elder. 5 Coin Battle is typically played during the afternoon game.

Break up into two teams, or three if there are more than 36 people, each team chooses a captain.

Each team captain receives 5 coins with which to enhance his or her players.

Otherwise it is basically a team battle with the following exceptions. No throwing weapons unless otherwise stated. Rouges are optional, if there are rouges allowed they gain the powers of a ninja. Dead players may kneel and wait to be healed by teammates; living players may not act dead.

You can gain one of the following effects by wearing one or more coins openly on your person:

1c you are a NINJA, you may use thrown weapons and you may act dead even if you are not dead, if asked directly you must admit to being alive

1c you are a PALADIN, you may heal limbs on an allay touched

1c you are a NECROMANCER, you may raise allays as zombies, zombies have only one leg, any legal hit kills a zombie, zombies may not say anything useful unless it has to do with safety (zombies are notoriously safe)

1c your team may choose a member of the opposing team to be a TRAITOR, the traitor joins your team and wears a coin before the game begins, traitors have no powers and there can be one per team. If you choose a traitor who has been given powers by their team, they give coins back to the original team.

2c you are a CLERIC, just like in a cleric game

2c you are an UNDERTAKER, any dead person you touch becomes permanently dead or any limbless black knight you touch. You carry the same weapon restrictions as a cleric.

2c you are a BLACK KNIGHT, body shots do not count against you, limbless black knights do not count toward victory, and if stabbed in the torso you must yell some silly quote to signify that you are not dead.

2c you are a CHAMPION, if you die, you may re-spawn after kneeling for ten seconds

5c you are a MESSIAH, your teammates may all re-spawn after kneeling for ten seconds, you may use no equipment of any kind, your team must begin the battle by yelling your name in praise (all praise holy lord Bubbles etc..)
